Mpophomeni Mall
Project description With its excellent position within the town of Mpophomeni, the Mpophomeni Mall will be a +-5500 m neighbourhood centre with easy access from the R617 and links to the N3, , KwaZulu Natal.

A Sasol filling station and Tourism Gateway Complex are situated opposite the development, serving as complementary facilities to the proposed retail centre. The close proximity of the taxi rank in the central business node of Mpophomeni Village will further add to the market strength of the centre.

The centre will serve 17,000 households within this node, as well as a further 750 households which form part of a new private housing project in close proximity to the site.

Mpophomeni Mall will provide a convenient shopping experience in a region with few retail options for residents who currently travel long distances for goods and services.

The proposed main anchor for the centre is Shoprite and will include a tenant mix comprising of fashion retailers, fast food outlets and banking services including ATMs.
